MyKunKhmer.com is a platform I created to preserve, promote, and deepen the understanding of Kun Khmer, Cambodia’s traditional martial art. This site serves as a growing hub that documents fighters, explains the sport’s history, and highlights the cultural elements that shape its identity.
My vision is to build a reliable and respected reference for Kun Khmer, one that celebrates fighters’ achievements while making accurate information accessible to fans, practitioners, and researchers around the world.
What I Focus On
Fighter Documentation
I work to record the profiles, brief biographies, and fight histories of Kun Khmer fighters, helping preserve their legacies and reduce gaps or inaccuracies in existing records. Coverage continues to expand, starting with the most established fighters and gradually including others.
Cultural Insight
The platform also explores the cultural side of Kun Khmer, from traditional music and rituals to attire and symbolism, offering context beyond the ring.
Education and Accessibility
Clear explanations of rules, terminology, and fundamental concepts are provided to support both newcomers and experienced followers, while also offering basic references to other martial arts for comparison.
Collaboration
This site is currently managed entirely by me. While I continue to expand it steadily, I remain open to collaboration with individuals, organizations, and governing bodies who share an interest in Kun Khmer. This may include content contribution, technical assistance, or other forms of cooperation, including financial collaboration where appropriate, always with the goal of strengthening the platform.
