Eh Naroth

Eh Naroth (Khmer: អេ ណារ័ត្ន), born in 1999 and previously known as Long Naroth, is Kun Khmer Fighter from Prey Veng Province.

    Journey in Kun Khmer

Before delving into the realm of professional Kun Khmer fighting, Naroth held a position as a security staff in Phnom Penh. However, in 2014, he embarked on a journey into Kun Khmer under the guidance of the revered Kun Khmer legend Eh Phouthong.

Initially, Naroth pursued Kun Khmer training as a passionate pursuit alongside his job, acknowledging the modest prize money in the sport during that period. As his devotion to the martial art grew, he made the decision to leave his security job and fully immerse himself in the world of Kun Khmer.

On March 22, 2020, Eh Naroth secured the PNN 57kg silver belt after triumphing over Pich Mateh Khmang, the bronze medalist in the 2017 SEA Games. Some spectators raised concerns, alleging that Naroth had struck his opponent from behind, a clear violation of the rules. However, upon meticulous review of the slow-motion footage, it became evident that the alleged infraction did not occur. Consequently, the judges rightfully declared Naroth as the deserving victor.
