Khorn Somaly

Khorn Somaly (ឃន សុម៉ាលី), born in 2004, is a rising Kun Khmer fighter from Siem Reap Province. Nicknamed “The All-in Fighter,” he is renowned for his aggressive fighting style and impressive footwork. Somaly trains under Master Vong Sithai at Mesor Thgnok Svay Rieng gym.

Somaly has quickly gained recognition in the Kun Khmer scene for his skill, discipline, and determination. In a recent match against Chinese fighter Ly Pengke, known for his sharp fist work, Somaly delivered a remarkable performance. He dominated the first round with powerful low kicks, forcing two 8-counts on his opponent. Despite Ly Pengke’s determination to continue into the second round, Somaly maintained his momentum, knocking him down twice more  in the start of round 2 and prompting a referee stoppage.

With his relentless training and focus, Khorn Somaly could be one of the Kun Khmer’s most promising prospects, poised to achieve even greater success in the sport.

NOTE: Fight records of Kun Khmer fighters vary across TV stations. Therefore, I maintain an independent tally, adding one after each new fight to ensure consistency. These statistics include bouts under all rules such as Kun Khmer, Mas Fight, MMA, and Kickboxing and at all levels, including amateur fights, as Kun Khmer has historically lacked a standardized recording system. As a result, totals may appear higher than those of some international fighters, whose records often include only professional bouts.
