Penkak Reachsey

Penkak Reachsey (Khmer: ប៉ែនកាក់ រាជសី), born in 2006 in Kampot Province, Cambodia, is a young Kun Khmer fighter who trains under Master Sen Bunthen at the Sen Bunthen Penkak Kun Khmer gym. Standing at 1.70 meters tall and weighing 60 kilograms, Reachsey competes in the orthodox stance.

His fight record includes a notable number of victories by Technical Knockout (TKO), which has drawn attention to his career. On March 8, 2025, during the Xtreme Cambodia Kun Khmer 36th week event hosted by Hang Meas Full HDTV, Reachsey secured the fastest TKO of the night, earning him the “KO of the Week” award and a cash prize. This performance demonstrated his ability to finish fights decisively.

As a young athlete, Reachsey is part of a new generation of Kun Khmer fighters. His career reflects both the challenges and progress typical of a fighter navigating a demanding sport. While he continues to develop his skills, his journey highlights the ongoing balance between tradition and individual achievement in Kun Khmer.

On 23 November 2025, Reachsey won two consecutive fights in the same evening. He first secured a points victory over Kham Sorya, then followed it with a first-round knockout against Pich Vibolsok after landing several strong blows with MMA gloves. He is now set to face Thun Menghong, who also stopped an Iranian opponent that night. Their upcoming matchup will be for the Hang Meas Silver Belt.

NOTE: Fight records of Kun Khmer fighters vary across TV stations. Therefore, I maintain an independent tally, adding one after each new fight to ensure consistency. These statistics include bouts under all rules such as Kun Khmer, Mas Fight, MMA, and Kickboxing and at all levels, including amateur fights, as Kun Khmer has historically lacked a standardized recording system. As a result, totals may appear higher than those of some international fighters, whose records often include only professional bouts.
