Rith Vibol (Khmer: រិទ្ធ វិបុល) is a Kun Khmer fighter from Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Born in 2003, he competes in the 54 kg division and trains at Mesor Thngok Kun Khmer under the guidance of trainer Thy Narith. Standing at 1.70 m, Vibol fights in an orthodox stance and represents the traditional style of Kun Khmer.
Journey into Kun Khmer
Vibol’s path into the sport was not straightforward. He began training without his father’s knowledge, and when discovered, his father initially opposed it. However, Vibol’s determination to continue eventually earned his father’s support. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Vibol decided to leave school and dedicate himself fully to training. His persistence has since become a source of pride for his family.
He first trained at Anachak Kun Khmer with master Thy Narith, before following his teacher to Mesor Thngok Kun Khmer. His connection to the sport also runs in the family: an uncle fought in earlier generations of Kun Khmer, and his younger brother, Rith Prayuth, is also an active fighter.
Fighting Career
Since turning professional, Vibol has built a record of 79 fights, with 56 wins, 21 losses, and 2 draws. Twenty-seven of his victories have come by technical knockout. He is recognized for his endurance and balanced fighting skills, often maintaining pressure throughout his bouts.
In his most recent match under Mas Fight rules against a French opponent, Vibol fought aggressively for the full nine minutes. The fight ended in a draw, as Mas Fight rules only declare a winner by knockout.

| NOTE: Fight records of Kun Khmer fighters vary across TV stations. Therefore, I maintain an independent tally, adding one after each new fight to ensure consistency. These statistics include bouts under all rules such as Kun Khmer, Mas Fight, MMA, and Kickboxing and at all levels, including amateur fights, as Kun Khmer has historically lacked a standardized recording system. As a result, totals may appear higher than those of some international fighters, whose records often include only professional bouts. | |
