Thun Menghong (Khmer: ធន់ ម៉េងហុង), born in 2002 in Kampong Cham Province, is a rising Kun Khmer fighter and one of the athletes whose fights many fans are eager to see. He competes in the 60 kilogram division, stands 1.68 meters tall, and fights in an orthodox stance.
He trains at the RCAF Boxing Gym under Master Thun Sophea, alongside fighters such as Bun Sothea, Thun Vanna, Thun Phanith, and Thun Sihong. In recent years, Menghong has continued to sharpen his technique and has taken on several international opponents. His performances have led fans to hope for future matchups with well-known domestic fighters like Pich Sambath and Hong Sovan Chansothy.
On 27 September 2025, Menghong won Hang Meas’ first-ever Extreme Silver Championship after knocking down another prominent Kun Khmer fighter in the second round. The win came with significant prize money and a large bonus, marking an important moment in his career.

Although he is known for earning many of his victories by TKO, his total number of bouts is still fairly limited. As he gains more experience, a clearer sense of his long-term position in the sport will emerge.

| NOTE: Fight records of Kun Khmer fighters vary across TV stations. Therefore, I maintain an independent tally, adding one after each new fight to ensure consistency. These statistics include bouts under all rules such as Kun Khmer, Mas Fight, MMA, and Kickboxing and at all levels, including amateur fights, as Kun Khmer has historically lacked a standardized recording system. As a result, totals may appear higher than those of some international fighters, whose records often include only professional bouts. | |
| CAUTION: The fight records of Kun Khmer Fighters have been inconsistent across TV stations. Therefore, instead of relying on the records displayed by individual broadcasters, I maintain an independent tally. I add one to the total after each new fight to ensure consistency.
