Van Voeun (Khmer: វ៉ាន់ វឿន), born in 2000 in Battambang Province, is a professional Kun Khmer Fighter known by the moniker “The Double Gunner fueled by an unwavering passion for the martial art. Despite initial reservations from his family, Van Voeun persisted, demonstrating a determination that would later define his career in the ring.
Standing at a formidable height of 1.70 meters and weighing in at 57 kg, Van Voeun has become a prominent figure in the Kun Khmer scene. His dedication to the traditional Cambodian martial arts of Kun Khmer has earned him recognition and respect within the fighting community.
Van Voeun trains diligently at Klaing Moeung Keila Pursat Boxing Gym under the guidance of his experienced trainer, Sok Vichey. Since his active years commenced in 2014 (He recently moved to train with KKIF under Mr. Srey Reachbotr), Van Voeun has showcased his skills in the ring.
In his pursuit of excellence, Van Voeun draws inspiration from the legendary Kun Khmer fighter, Thun Sophea. Although retired, Sophea continues to contribute to the sport as a Kun Khmer trainer, serving as a guiding light for aspiring fighters like Van Voeun.
