Puth Sambo

Puth Sambo (Khmer: ពុធ សំបូរ), born in 1999 in Tbaung Khmum Province, is a prominent Cambodian professional Kun Khmer fighter. Known for his southpaw stance and fighting under the banner of RCAF – Ministry of National Defense, Sambo has made a significant mark in the world of Kun Khmer. Trained by ​masters Mark Samoeun and Mark Sokhon, he has demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication in the ring.

Put Sambo’s reputation soared to new heights on January 18, 2024, when he triumphed in a marathon match, defeating two top-tier fighters—Touch Devit in the first round and Sorn Rakim in the second. The victory earned him a car prize sponsored by Boostrong Energy Drink. Before the match, many fans doubted Sambo’s chances, believing his opponents were more strategic and formidable. However, the unexpected results left fans amazed, as Sambo demonstrated significant improvement compared to his previous performances. This win not only marked a personal milestone for Sambo but also brought the club its first major prize, making his trainers immensely proud.
